MCLOSA, the Medical Contact Lens and Ocular Surface Association, is a subspecialist interest group which falls within the subspeciality of Cornea and External Eye Disease.

We welcome both junior and senior ophthalmologists to join the Membership of MCLOSA and we are delighted to now be able to offer Associate Membership to Optometrists.

The Association is committed to promoting and advancing knowledge in the diagnosis and management of diseases of the conjunctiva, cornea and sclera. This includes microbial infections, corneal dystrophies, inflammatory processes and outer surface manifestations of systemic disease.

MCLOSA also deals with new surgical techniques and the management of corneal transplant and refractive surgery.
